​Textured walls add interest. There’s nothing like opening a fresh bucket of plaster and either troweling or brushing it on. The whole room will be transformed and being involved in the process is very exciting. Bas reliefs can be created using plaster and offer a whole different dimension to design- I love using palette knives and piping bags to apply the plaster. Sometimes bits of found objects can be put together as a mosaic and be just the right addition.
